My name is Catherine Harnisch. I provide quality hand guided machine quilting on my A-1 longarm-quilting machine. This gives a quilter options in how their quilt tops are finished. I take pride in every quilt I finish. Whether it is a simple lap quilt or an extraordinary one of a kind quilt.
Quilting Fees
All over Stipple or Pantograph-(edge to edge): $.015 – .030 sq. in.
Custom- (simple block & border designs): $.04 – .05 sq. in.
Custom Complex Designs-(dense multi-block & border): starts at $.05 sq. in.
Minimum charge: $45.00
Binding Fees
Binding services are charged by the linear inch, L+L+W+W.
Attaching pre-made binding by machine to front ready for you to finish: $.10 per linear inch.
Attaching pre-made binding by machine to front and finishing by hand: $ .25 per linear inch.
If you need me to make the binding there is an additional charge.
Quilt Preparation:
“ Backing & batting need to 6 inches larger on all sides than the quilt top
“ Trim all threads on top & backing
“ Press top & backing, checking seams & edges and repair if needed
“ Do not pin or baste layers together
“ Square up top & backing to ensure ease of loading onto frame
“ Mark top of quilt, batting, & backing separately with a safety pin
If you need batting I carry Quilters Dream batting. Quilters Dream batting is available in cotton, poly, wool or a cotton/poly blend. Quilters Dream batting also has various weights from thin to thick.
All quilting & finishing is completed in a smoke free but not pet free environment. Please follow the preparation instructions given to ensure the best possible results. I will confirm the estimated quilting fee with you before any work is started
Tops are quilted in order they are received.
